The main aim of the new feet is to make them much. much stronger.I am using several materials on the new feet. The main body of the feet are made from laminate flooring panels which in essence is strengthened MDF. The skirt ring is made up from two layers of 18mm MDF giving the whole foot much more strength. This foot design even though it will be much stronger will not be placed under any stress at all due to the fact the motor bracket will be much stronger and made fully out of metal.
