New Booster covers and light sensors

It was time for the old booster covers which which were made from Cardboard to be remade in wood. The basic shape was cut on the band saw and has now been filled and had the first coat of primer. There is still a great deal of work to do no these but they will be so much stronger and take the knocks much better.
I have also started work on the light sensor switch which will trigger a sound from the sound card when a bright light is shone on it. At some of the events Emy goes to one of the other Costumers is dressed up as a Jawa and we thought it would be great if the Jawa's Dorid caller device could trigger a sound or action on the R6. By using a light switch the Jawa's Droid caller device can be fitted with a very bright LED, and when used will trigger an approriate sound.
